Rea Valley has lot’s of vacancies for Young People to join Scouting, as well as Adult Volunteers who want to make a difference in the District of Rea Valley.

Young People

Young People learn lots of Skills for Life in Scouting, whether that be practical skills such as fire lighting, or climbing, or skills which are vital for everyday life like leadership, and teamwork, Scouts will have the opportunity to learn them all. In fact, two thirds of astronauts have belonged to Scouts, and 11 of the 12 men who have walked on the moon were Scouts.

Adult Volunteers

Adult Volunteers is what makes Scouting what it is today, and without it, there would be no Scouts. Leaders can volunteer as much or as little as they want, and can do what they want. So if you’re good with numbers, or an excellent planner, you can do what you want, and maybe develop new skills that you would like to learn. So whether you want to try something new, or want to help out with skills you already know, you will always have a home in Rea Valley!
